Although this strategy may be the most profitable one for their business, it has the unfortunate effect of restricting access to care for many clients who deserve support and empowerment through mental healthcare. Will I Know My Costs Ahead of Time?
Yes. Before your first appointment, you’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs for your services. No surprise bills. No hidden fees. We want you to know exactly what to expect. How Does Billing Work for Therapy and Psychiatry?
Therapy and psychiatry sessions are typically billed at a consistent rate depending on your clinician and service type.

How Does Billing Work for Testing?
Psychological testing involves multiple billable components, potentially across several sessions. These components may be billed under different CPT codes, depending on the services rendered. Insurance coverage for testing varies significantly by plan and reason for referral.

We take a personalized approach to testing services assessments and design our evaluations according to clients’ specific concerns and goals. We offer a range of options for self-pay clients seeking testing:
Self-pay testing rates include both an intake and feedback session (unless otherwise indicated) and a complete report. We additionally administer IQ testing with every evaluation. We don’t assess hidden fees or adjust our rates based on the age of a client.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes. We offer flexible payment plans for testing and therapy costs not covered by insurance. If cost is a concern, let us know. We’ll work with you to find a manageable option.
How Do I Pay?
We submit in-network claims directly to your insurance carrier and accept major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and ACH transfers for client responsibilities. All card information is securely stored and automatically billed by our billing team. All card payments have a 3% processing fee assessed.
If you are using out-of-network benefits, you’ll receive an invoice after each session or testing appointment, and charges are processed securely through our out-of-network billing platform, Mentaya.
What’s Your No-Show or Cancellation Policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask you to notify us at least 2 business days (i.e., Monday-Friday) in advance. Individual therapy, group therapy, and psychiatry cancellations made less than 2 business days in advance, or no-shows, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full self-pay cost of the missed session. Due to the time-intensive and highly specialized nature of testing services, missed testing intakes or feedback sessions, or testing intakes or feedback sessions cancelled less than 3 business days in advance, are charged the full self-pay cost of the missed session. Missed testing administration sessions or testing administration sessions cancelled less than 3 business days in advance are charged a fee of $250 for every scheduled hour. Missed appointment or late cancellation fees cannot be billed to insurance, and are the sole responsibility of the client. This policy respects the time of our clinical experts and other clients seeking care.
