Hello!
Thanks for stopping by to check out my profile. I am excited at the prospect of working with you to figure out the best path for the change you would like to see in your life. I know there are a LOT of options out there when you’re looking for a therapist so let me tell you a bit more about me.
What you should know…I am a neurospicy gal with a penchant for reality TV. I’m talking about the worst reality TV, like Love Island, The Real Housewives, and most shows on Bravo. I am a certified “word nerd” who loves crossword puzzles, word solitaire and reading horror, true crime and memoirs.
I’ve been told my whole life that I have the aura of someone to whom you can tell anything. This works well in therapy, but in real life…I’ve heard some things I will never unhear. I am a fierce supporter of human rights; a dog person and I make a mean homemade pasta and meatballs.
My favorite meal of the day is whatever the ADHD chooses…currently that’s Cap’n Crunch (don’t judge). Despite all of the above, I also managed to raise two adult humans who are functioning, independent, and kind.

…about my all-time favorite TV character (and the subject of my favorite memes and TikToks).
…the random thing I do most that I now know is an ADHD stim.
…how long it took me to figure out who the heck I really am (some of us need more time to process…) and why I got up on a stage to talk about it.

My job is to show you how to take control of your experiences in ways that makes you more authentically you.
I am a trauma therapist that works with identity and systems. That’s a fancy way to say I help you understand the lasting effects of experiences that wounded your nervous system. We are born with a completely blank subconscious mind. Our relationships are the systems that fill that subconscious mind. That means our parents (also humans who make mistakes), our community, schools, society…OUCH! See? Being human is a recipe for stress and our bodies can help elevate that or push the brakes. Identity, and how the systems around us perceive it also adds a level of stress that’s called minority stress.
If after all of this, you are STILL considering therapy with me, here’s what you can expect.
We will talk like real people. No buzzwords, no worksheets (unless you ask). Just a therapist who’s lived a whole lot of life and you–a human trying to learn and evolve. I deliver affirming, evidence-based, trauma-informed care wrapped in relatability. I am direct, but warm. Funny and real. Once you’re here, you will find me to be your biggest fan.
I provide individual, relationship, and family therapy to folks from the age of 13 on and have over 12 years of experience using mind-body therapies like DBT, CBT, EMDR, and cognitive processing therapy. I speak teenager and young adult. I am a WPATH-trained gender therapist and a queer woman. I love working with relationships of all types and am kink- and poly-informed. Systems are at the core of humanity, and I love helping people understand how they can navigate them, especially families.
Therapy is here to help people like us deal with all the people in the world who claim to “not need therapy.” We are all just doing the best we can, and this life is no joke. Whether you are a parent, a child, a sibling, or a partner, learning how to be human is the path to peace.
Therapy can help light the way when things feel dark and uncertain. And most of all, it is the ONE place where you can shamelessly talk about yourself, and it is totally appropriate. A little self-care, just one hour per week. With me.
I can’t wait to meet you.
